Foster CM Group is currently seeking a Regional Manager / New Strategic Markets (RM/SM) to lead business development, recruiting and technical operations efforts and support a project pursuit culture for area regional growth within the company. This opportunity will require supporting the company’s business development plan to reach new markets and manage the development of such markets from initial pursuit through execution of contract, staff placement, and managing continual client relations and stakeholders within the markets served.
The RM/SM must be a team-player and strong communicator, possess a good technical background in the Program Management/Construction Management (PM/CM) industry, and have good client service skills as well as the knowledge to market Foster CM Group’s unique business culture. Candidate will work closely with regional vice presidents, account managers, operations managers and the marketing department, and will report directly to the company president.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing new account identification and lead pursuits in new markets within the U.S.;
Identify and manage the development of existing strategic client relationships as well as develop new client relationships;
Lead effort to recruit new staff for projects developed;
Periodically assist marketing department with creating new innovative approaches to sale services;
Assist operations team with project start-ups, including staffing and initial client relations;
Attend industry and new/potential client events with the intent to market Foster CM Group within area communities; and
Attend pre-submittal conferences and have the ability to connect with potential teaming partners based upon Foster CM Group’s minority business status.

Education, Experience & Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field
Minimum 5 years client relations and PM/CM operations experience
Experience in managing and logging client contacts and opportunities
Previous PM/CM experience (non-negotiable)
Travel required to assist in developing new clients & meeting with area key stakeholders (travel expected: minimum two days per month)
