The Payroll/HR Specialist is responsible for the daily management of Payroll and HR functions for both union and non-union employees. This position computes and processes payroll in accordance with union agreements, Minnesota Prevailing wage, and other state and federal laws. Further, the Payroll/HR Specialist oversees and manages all human resources functions such as onboarding, talent development, and providing ongoing support to managers and the leadership team. This fast-paced position requires the ability to multi-task, communicate effectively (both orally and in writing) to Upper Management, Superintendents, Foreman, and Employees, and to build relationships though effective teamwork.

A minimum of 5 years payroll experience and competency with Microsoft Office Products is required. Human resources experience, knowledge of Vista ERP, and a Certified Payroll Professional certification is preferred.
