We have a unique opportunity, for the right individual, to become our company President. We are looking for an experienced individual to supervise and control all strategic and business aspects of the company. You will be the first in command in the company and responsible for giving the proper strategic direction as well as creating a vision for success.

Provide leadership and oversight for the day-to-day operations for all Construction, Project Management, and Project Administration activities. Responsible for establishing and achieving company's goals and strategies and presiding over the entire CMS workforce. Oversees budgets and ensures resources are properly allocated. Ensures profitability of individual jobs. Responsible for overall accountability to CMS Board of Directors and Owner. This position reports directly to the President of The Caton Companies.

Develop and implement strategies and set the overall direction of organization.
Oversee Project Managers, Estimators, Superintendents, Field Personnel, and Administrative staff within the organization.
Meet monthly with Board of Directors to review project management, estimating, financial statements, and business development.
Ensure compliance with industry-standard project management systems, processes, and practices.
Resolve Owner, Architect, Subcontractor performance or relationship issues.
Direct the organization's financial goals, objectives, and budgets.
Ensure jobs are performed safely, on time, on budget, and in compliance with government regulations.
Implement the organization's guidelines on a day-to-day basis.
Preside over quality control of internal systems and jobs.
Lead business development.
Oversee and ensure compliance with CMS safety program.
Hire, train, and terminate employees.
Direct staff, including organizational structure, professional development, motivation, performance evaluation, discipline, compensation, personnel policies, and procedures.
Develop and maintain relationships with other associations, industry, and government officials that are in the best interest of the company.
This position manages all employees of the company and is responsible for the performance management and input regarding hiring of senior-level management.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Required Education and Experience
8-10 years of related industry experience
Contracts and negotiation experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
10-15 years of related industry experience growing a company rapidly.
