Position Title: Construction Project Manager I – Oregon Zoo Bond

Position Summary: We are pleased to be recruiting for a Construction Project Manager to support the Oregon Zoo Bond program. This position will support completion of capital projects funded by the 2008 Oregon Zoo Bond measure. These projects focus on animal welfare, conservation education and sustainable infrastructure. This position will assist in managing the design and construction of projects for the Oregon Zoo.
The Construction Project Manager will report to the Oregon Zoo Bond Construction Manager and will work with a talented team to manage capital projects.
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, execution and the successful completion of the design and construction of moderately complex projects in occupied spaces.
This position oversees design consultants and construction contractors, and is responsible for delivering projects within the approved scope, schedule and budget. Applicants must have a solid understanding of all phases of design and construction project development, as well as project management principals, tools and techniques.
This Limited Duration position supports Oregon Zoo Bond projects and will end before or at the completion of the final bond funded project, which is currently forecast to complete in December 2020.

Two years of experience in construction management; and
Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management or civil engineering, or
Any combination of education and experience which provide the candidate with the skills, knowledge and ability required to perform the job.
