A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A PROJECT ENGINEER
As a Project Engineer, you spend time in the field, while managing our heavy civil projects to ensure that our clients are satisfied with the high quality work that we provide. You are responsible for a project from start to finish, and in order to perform at your best, you learn all you can about our equipment, employees, and cut and fill projects. You have the opportunity to travel to different projects and gain further experience through their diversity. Throughout the course of each project, you complete budgeting, scheduling, quantity tracking, owner invoicing, subcontractor management, change order preparation, and client/agency relations. Your communication skills assist you as you interact with clients and other Rummel Construction employees.
College degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field
Willingness to travel throughout the Southwestern United States
Do you have excellent communication skills both verbal and written? Are you an organized person with great time management skills? Can you effectively prioritize to provide services to multiple projects? If so, you may be perfect for this project engineering position!
The typical schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, day shift. The exact times depend on the time of year.
