Minimum Qualifications: 5-years airport operations and/or construction experience. Functional familiarity with FAA regulations, procedures and Form 7460 - Notice of Proposed Construction or Alteration.
Coordination with FAA regional office in the generation, submittal, alteration, and tracking of FAA Form 7460's for HAS owner and tenant sponsored projects.
Schedules, facilitates, and attends meetings with stakeholders, contractors, tenants, governmental entities as needed to ensure effective coordination of FAA obstruction evaluations for construction projects.
Generates reports of status and coordinates with stakeholders on expiring approvals.
Review FAA 7460 approvals for applicability and coverage and resolves discrepancies.
Inspects construction job sites to ensure 7460 approval compliance and resolves discrepancies.
Provides guidance on FAA procedures.
Coordinate FAA airspace approvals for the Tenant Improvement Program at BSG TIP team member.
8 to 12 years of experience in field construction engineering.
Experience in the construction of large electrical/civil/structural and/or industrial projects at domestic and/or foreign locations is preferred.
Comprehensive knowledge of electrical engineering and electrical construction-related processes, as well as electrical industry practices and codes.
Familiarity with Microstation, CAD, PDS model, and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering and construction.
Ability to perform in a lead capacity on a project.
4-year degree In electrical engineering or construction-related field from an accredited institution or equivalent construction work experience.
