AHP is known for its parent company’s large tax credit investment capacity and for providing flexible and timely investment solutions to its development partners to create affordable housing. Since AHP's inception in 2011, AHP has acquired (for Berkshire Hathaway’s use) over $4.5 billion of tax credits. These investments have spanned over 400 properties within the United States and in Puerto Rico, totaling the new construction or renovation of over 52,000 apartment homes.
